Favorite part of your New Morning day: Greeting all the kiddos as they arrive. It’s invigorating to see how excited they are to see their friends, their school, and us.
Favorite color: Burgundy
Favorite season: Spring
Favorite food: Spicy Butter Chicken
Favorite music: As a former music Major, this is a tough one. I have a special place in my heart for Romantic era composers and some Symphonic Metal Bands.
Favorite book: Hard to call it a favorite exactly, but the book that I’ve thought and probably talked about the most is “Ordinary Men” by Christopher Browning
Hobbies: Weightlifting and strategy games
What relaxes you: Quiet time with a book or a game
What makes you laugh: My children, more often than not. Their observations and descriptions of the world are often silly and occasionally genuinely hilarious.
What you want to do when you grow up: Pick up a wide range of different hobbies. Learn how to sail, paint miniatures, figure out how to wood carve, things like that.
Flying or invisibility: Fly, for sure. Growing up as a kid with an obsession for aircraft, I think flying would be pretty spectacular.
Anything else to share: I am thrilled and honored to be a part of the staff at New Morning. As a parent, I was always so grateful to know that such fabulous people were working with my kiddos. To get to call those same people my colleagues is such a joy.
